TEACH FOR QAZAQSTAN’S FIRST COHORT
In 2023, the Teach for Qazaqstan project launched in Kazakhstan and began selecting participants for its program. The application and selection period ran from January 9 to March 3, during which over 3,000 participants registered on the official website. From the 500 fully completed applications, a special committee of assessors selected 49 winners after four stages of evaluation. All interim results were shared promptly and transparently on the program’s social media.

In July 2023, participants also passed the National Teacher Knowledge Assessment—a key requirement for becoming a certified teacher in Kazakhstan.
